Glynn Emry, 65, Peculiar, MO, died Saturday, March 18, 2017 at his home. A memorial visitation was held Tuesday, March 21 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.

Glynn was born February 1, 1952 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Clifford R. and Beulah Irene (Smith) Emry. He was a 1970 graduate of Blue Springs High School. He married Cheryl Jones on August 6, 1976 in Lee's Summit, MO. Glynn was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local 838 for over 20 years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and racing with his family and friends.

Glynn was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of the home; two sons, James Emry and Mark Emry, both of Peculiar, MO; one daughter, Melissa Emry, Harrisonville, MO; two brothers, Monte Emry and Neal Emry, both of Independence, MO; 7 grandchildren, Kelsey, Bailey, Mason, Marissa, Brenden, Makayla and M. J.; 1 great-grandson, Ryker, and many nieces and nephews.
