Glen Berry Inman, 66, Peculiar, MO, died Sunday, September 10, 2006, at his home. Glen was born September 8, 1940 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Lonzo Berry and Ethel (Ledbetter) Inman. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 14, 2006 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO, officiated by Brother Larry Abbott, Brother Ed Wilson, Brother Clifford Cole and Sister Marsha Corteway. Music by The Cole Quartet. Burial was in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Honorary casketbearers were Bill Day, Jim Wall, Ted Bock, Larry Cantrell, Kyle Tremblay, Vern Garrison, Harold Holman, Curtis Williams, J. C. Parson and Garold McMillian. Casketbearers were David Carpenter, Martin Carpenter, Nick Jacobs, Gary Inman, Earl Lyman, Garen McMillian and Kevin Inman.
Glen married Leta Laverne Wall on February 24, 1962 in Arkansas. He moved to Kansas City, MO in 1962 and moved to Peculiar, MO in 1976.
Glen worked for General Motors, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Church of God.
Glen is survived by his wife, Leta Inman, of the home; two sons, Charles Glen Inman and his wife, Teresa, Peculiar, MO and Paul Glyndon Inman and his wife, Jody, Freeman, MO; one daughter, Glenetta Lynn Carpenter and her husband, Mark, Peculiar, MO; seven grandchildren, Lynnetta, David, Martin, Karyn Carpenter, Amber and Kevin Inman and Nick Jacobs, nieces and nephews and extended family, the Paul Cole children and Gertrude Lounds.
