Obituary
Glen Troy Evans, 91, Grandview, Missouri, formerly of Adrian, Missouri, died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian with burial in Altona Cemetery, Adrian. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Glen was born January 28, 1922 in Howe, Oklahoma to Wiley and Dollie(Glenn) Evans. On October 5, 1949 he was untied in marriage to Darline Neola. Glen was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. He worked for General Motors at the Fairfax Plant in Kansas City as a mechanic.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Darline on June 19, 2001, one brother Pete, and three sisters, Pauline, Lilly, and Lena Faye. He is survived by sons, David Evans and his wife, Marsha, of Grandview, MO and Donald L. Sedig of Adrian, MO; one sister, Alberta Tomlin and her husband, Bill, of Pineville, MO; two granddaughters, Jasmine and Rachel.
