IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ginger Orlene
Freeman
November 23, 1967 – January 14, 2025
Ginger Orlene Freeman, 57, of Creighton, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. A celebration of Ginger's life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
Ginger was born on November 23, 1967, in Independence, MO. She graduated from Lee's Summit High School and followed her career path of becoming a licensed beautician. Not long after getting married, she decided to become a stay-at-home wife and mother. Ginger centered her life around her daughter, and then her 2 granddaughters with whom she found joy spending time around and traveling to explore new places. Her family and friends describe her to be 'extremely nosey', 'full of questions', yet a loving, 'odd duck'. Ginger's happiness came from family and she was always there for anyone in need. Even upon her death, she was still helping others by being an organ transplant and research donor.
Ginger was preceded in death by both of her parents, Don and Charlotte (Parker) Elliott; and by both sets of grandparents. She is survived in death by her husband, David Freeman, of the home in Creighton, MO; her daughter, Racheal Freeman, and granddaughters, April and Allison Lawless, of Harrisonville, MO; and her siblings: Johnnie Elliott and Cindy Cook, of Harrisonville, MO; along with countless friends and extended family.
Ginger touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
