Gerriard "Jerry" Jackson Clary, 79, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Monday, August 6, 2007 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Services will be Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 11:00am at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, with a visitation at the chapel from 10:00-11:00am on Thursday.
Jerry was born August 15, 1927 in Cass County, the son of Margaret Fannie (Brewster) and Gerriard Jackson Clary, Sr.
He was a 1945 graduate of Harrisonville High School and a Navy veteran. Jerry was a Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Jerry was united in marriage to Donna Mae Crotty on October 12, 1950 at Freeman Baptist Church.
He was employed by Phillips 66 as gauger in Kansas City, Kansas and a pumping station manager in Harrisonville.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Willard Lee Clary; and two sisters, Wilma May Clary and Betty Richardson.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Clary, of the home; two daughters, Becky A. Bell, Savannah, MO, and Deborah M. Clary, Trenton, Michigan; one sister Dorothy Carey, Independence, MO; two grandchildren, Nicholas G. Bell and A. Corinne Adkins; two great-grandchildren, Kirby G. Bell and Carissa F. Adkins; and one nephew, Jerry D. Carey.
