George "Mike" Michael Price, 72, of Archie, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Golden Years in Harrisonville, MO. A Celebration of Life memorial service was held  Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Cass County Elks Lodge in Harrisonville.

Mike was born October 24, 1951 in Kansas City, MO, a son of David L. and Nora C. (Billingsley) Price. He spent his early years in Americus, Kansas, and was a 1969 graduate of Americus High School. He attended college for two years at Emporia State University in Emporia, KS before starting work in the construction field. Mike was a concrete flatwork finisher and owned his own company, GMP Flatwork, and retired after 36 years on the job.

Mike moved to Archie in 2000, and was united in marriage to Dawn Rusow on May 16, 2003 at his sister's home in Gravette, Arkansas. He was a member of the Cass County Elks Lodge in Harrisonville.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David; and two sisters, Cecilia and Rosemary. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Price, Archie, MO; two sons: James Rusow, Cleveland, MO; and Justin Rusow, Adrian, MO; two daughters: Michelle Price, Washington State; and Jennifer Renee Murphy, Adrian, MO; two sisters: Sheri Heath, Gravette, AR; and Patricia Price, Gravette, AR; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
