Genevieve Lee Todd, 85, of Peculiar, Missouri died Friday, August 19, 2011 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Burial in Glenwild Cemetery, Cleveland, Missouri.

Genevieve was born March 16, 1926 in Seymour, MO, the daughter of Robert Folk and Edna Mae (Lee) Helms. She married Edward "Bud" Todd on April 25, 1943 in Marshfield, MO. Genevieve was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward on October 31, 2000, two sons, Robert Edward and Larry Eugene, one daughter, Donna May, two brothers, a sister and one granddaughter, Sherry Snead. She is survived by three sons, Orville Dean Todd and his wife, Stephanie, Doyle Lynn Todd, Keith Dale Todd and his wife, Jayne, all of Peculiar, MO; two daughters, Gayla Mills and her husband, Jeff, Peculiar, MO and Janice Brewster and her husband, Terry, Rich Hill, MO; three sisters, Mary Sanders and her husband, Robert, Palmetto, FL, Betty Sanders, Springfield, IL and Joyce Kay Langley and her husband, Wayne, Springfield, MO; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
