Gary Lee Nevils, 71, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at his home. He affected the lives of everyone he knew and will be very deeply missed. There will be no services but please remember him within your hearts because that is the celebration he deserves.

Gary was born the middle child of Roy Glenn and Joyce A. (Hoover) Nevils on Dec. 6, 1953, in Windsor, MO. He grew up to be an outgoing and charismatic individual who touched the lives of many. Gary proudly served in the Army from 1971 to 1973, an experience that instilled in him a deep sense of dedication and commitment.

In his professional life, Gary became a valued member of the Boilermakers Union Local 83, where his hard work and determination shone brightly. On July 3, 1980, he married the love of his life, Rosanna May (Corso) Nevils. Together, they built a beautiful life in Harrisonville, Missouri, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their greatest joy came with the birth of their only child, Jessica Lee Nevils, on June 22, 1986.

Gary went on to live a life of hard work, experience, and travel until his well-earned retirement in 2010, after which he was able to enjoy some leisure and time at home. He was known for his dedication, silver tongue, artistic leaning, and fondness for cars, business, & vice.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Rosanna Nevils, of the home; and daughter, Jessica Nevils.
