Gary Dean Crowder, 63, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO.  A family gathering will be held at a later date.

Gary was born April 17, 1958 in Harrisonville, MO, a son of Lyle Curtis and Hazel B. (Mudd) Crowder.  He attended Harrisonville schools and was a lifelong resident of Cass County, MO.  Gary worked odd jobs until he medically retired in 2013.  He married Kim Yahnig in 1989 and assisted her in raising her two daughters, whom he loved with all of his heart.  He also had two grandchildren that made him very proud.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Dale LaRue Crowder, Larry Curtis Crowder and Edward Arthur Crowder.  He is survived by two step-daughters, Tiffany Bogel,  and Mary Hensley, both of Harrisonville MO; two grandchildren, Hailey White and Jacob Smith; his ex-wife, Kim Yahnig, Lee's Summit, MO; a sister, Patti Jo Baker (Rex), Archie, MO; a sister-in-law, Wanda Crowder, West Line, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews.
