Freddie proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He worked at Montgomery Ward and later dedicated his career to public service as a meat inspector with the United States Department of Agriculture, The Veneer Plant, Billy Goat Industries, and then retired as a farmer.
A farmer at heart, Freddie raised Black Angus cattle and found great joy spending time outdoors caring for them. He enjoyed square dancing, traveling, woodworking, walking, gardening, and tending to his flowers and vegetables. He also had a fondness for cars and took pride in working with his hands. Above all else, Freddie cherished his family, who were the center of his life.
Freddie was preceded in death by his father, Jones Samuel Francy; his mother, Alice Marie Francy; his beloved wife, Joyce Darlene Francy; and ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Marcia (Richard) Byers; his brother, Clifford Francy; his grandchildren, Jason (Meghan) Byers and Justin (Brittany) Byers; and his great-grandchildren, Alana Byers, Madison Prine, Jude Byers, and Eve Byers.
Freddie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
