Franklin L. "Buddy" Anderson, 75 of Spring, TX, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 20 at the Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville.

Buddy was born December 23, 1934 in Harrisonville, MO, the son of George William and Mabel (Arnold) Anderson. He married Nancy Willsey in 1958 and they were married for 52 years.

Buddy worked as a project engineer and plumber. For the past 10 years he had worked at Lowes Home Improvement in the plumbing department. He was in the Army reserves for six years.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Nancy of the home; two daughters, Julie Mann and her husband, Robert and Lorri Foster and her husband, Jonathan, all of Spring, TX; four grandchildren, Ryan Mann and his wife, Erin, Joshua Mann, Nicole Mounce and her husband, Jerad and Cayla Lamont and her husband, John; two great-granddaughters, Lacy and Bella and numerous other relatives and many friends.

Buddy enjoyed the work of his hands, took pride in giving the best he possibly could in all aspects of life. His surrounding friends and family are led by his example. Drawn together by the principles of hard work, honesty and integrity that he instilled in each of us.
