Frank Leroy Messmer, 88, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at his home in Raymore. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri.  Burial  in Forest Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.

F rank was born March 16, 1937 in Kansas City, MO, a son of James and Joy (Harris) Messmer. He was a lifelong area resident and had lived in Archie, MO and Kansas City before moving to Raymore. He was united in marriage to Billie Nobles, October 1, 1994 in Kansas City. Frank worked in the maintenance dept. for the Shawnee Mission School District before his retirement.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; and numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Billie Messmer, a son Paul Messmer, Raymore; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
