Frances was born November 11, 1919 in Holden, MO, the daughter of Ralph Harold and C. Enola (Doty) Baker. She married Vernon Spradling on March 16, 1973. Frances was a high school graduate and attended two years of college in Warrensburg, MO. She worked as a secretary at Remington Arms-DuPont for 20 years before retiring in 1979. She had lived in Kansas City and Independence, MO before moving to Peculiar in 1973.
Frances was a member of the Raymore Lion's (International) Club in Raymore, MO and the Raymore Historical Society. She was a member of the R. L. D. S. (Stone Church) in Independence, MO.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Vernon, of the home; one aunt, Elsa Cotter, Lee's Summit, MO and several nieces and nephews.
