Frances Elaine Rivera, 70, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at her home. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, MO. A memorial service followed the graveside service at John Calvin Manor Community Room in Lee's Summit. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite animal shelter.

Frances Elaine was born June 29, 1953 to Frank and Hazel (Snow) Watts in Kansas City, MO. She graduated in 1972 from Adrian High School in Adrian, MO. Frances Elaine spent many years at Blue Valley Industries in Kansas City, MO, where she was often praised for her excellent work. On April 23, 2001, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Raymond Rivera. You could find her spending her free time doing puzzles, meeting new people, and socializing with friends. None of her hobbies could match the joy and love she had for dogs. She knew the names of all the dogs she met. Frances Elaine will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Frances Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Stephen Douglas Watts; and her husband. She is survived by her sister, Cynthia Harmer; nieces: Jessica Harmer, Carley Corbin, and Adrianne Marks; cousins; great-nieces; great-nephew; and many friends.
