Frances Elizabeth LaRue, 89, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.  Burial will be in Clearfork Cemetery in Garden City, Missouri.  Visitation will be from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Friday at the Atkinson Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.

Frances was born August 22, 1924 in Cooper, Oklahoma, the daughter of Frank M. and Florence E. (Edwards) Galloway. She was a 1942 graduate of Webb City, Oklahoma High School. She married Wylie Barton LaRue on June 9, 1945. Frances was a lifelong resident of Cass County, Missouri. She worked at Cass County Title Company for 13 years before going into real estate. She was a member of Harrisonville BPW and the Sycamore Grove Mennonite Church in Garden City.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, one brother, and her husband, Wylie on June 3, 1997. She is survived by one son, Wylie B. LaRue, III, Freeman, Missouri; two daughters, Barb McMillian, Garden City, Missouri and Maxine Williams, Stover, Missouri; four grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
