Frances "Fran" D. Ferguson, 90, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25 at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.

Fran was born April 29, 1922 in Jerome, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Anna (Williams) Donahue. She grew up in the West Plains, Missouri area and moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1970. She moved to Harrisonville in 1980.

Fran worked as a supervisor for International Shoe Company in West Plains, Missouri, from 1953-1970. After she moved to Kansas City, Fran worked for Smith RPM in Overland Park, Kansas, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville and the Harrisonville VFW Auxiliary.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers and sisters, one son, James D. Ferguson who was killed in Vietnam in 1968 and a grandson, Rodney Sibbitt. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Miller and husband, Clint, Harrisonville, Missouri and Vickie Sibbitt and her husband, Ronald, Palmdale, California; three sisters, Katherine Ward, Springfield, Missouri, Anna Mathies of Delaware and Peggy Donahue of Florida; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
