F. Neil Rogers, 68, of Warsaw, MO formerly of Raymore, MO died Friday, January 22, 2010 in Lee's Summit, MO. Memorial services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, Missouri. Contributions to the Heart Of America Prison Ministries.
Neil was born January 5, 1942 in Osborn, Missouri, a son of Forrest Noland and Esther Agnes (Groebe) Rogers. He grew up in the Osborn area and was a 1959 graduate of Osborn High School. Neil was united in marriage to Caroline N. Brown on March 4, 1961.
Neil and Caroline lived in Raymore, MO 27 years before moving to Warsaw, MO in 2000.
Neil was a processing engineer and worked at Honeywell in Kansas City 33 years, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hermitage, MO.
Neil was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Virginia Cook and Carolyn Williams, and two brothers, Robert Rogers, and Wiley Rogers.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline Rogers, Warsaw, MO; a daughter, Jennifer Franz, Greenwood, MO; two brothers, Wayne Rogers, Cameron, MO; and Vernon Rogers, Maysville, MO. Two sisters Esther Mae Richardson, Osborn,MO; and Joyce Hert, St. Joseph, MO; one grandson, Gregory Franz, Raytown, MO; and a great-grandaughter, Jadyn Franz.
