Finley "Neill" McNeill Preston, Jr., 68, Harrisonville, MO, died Friday, February 1, 2019 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville.  Graveside services were held February 4, 2019 at Sharon Cemetery in Drexel, MO.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Neill was born August 3, 1950 in Kansas City, MO, a son of Finley M. and Marjorie (Kirk) Preston, Sr.  He was a 1968 graduate of Harrisonville High School and a 1972 graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia.  He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.  He held several jobs over his lifetime and had lived in Belton, MO and Grandview, MO before moving to Harrisonville.  He was a U. S. Army veteran.

Neill was preceded by his parents.  He is survived by one brother, Steve Preston (Wendy), Harrisonville, MO; two nieces, Shelby Preston, Harrisonville and Lacey Grant (Matthew), Archie, MO; one nephew, Cody Preston (Sonya), Overland Park, KS; great nieces and great nephews, Jake, Laura, Kalila, and Cecilia.
