Evelyn M. Scott, 89, Adrian, MO, died Friday, July 13, 2018 at her home.   Graveside services were held  Tuesday, July 17, at Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian.  Memorial contributions may be made to Adrian United Methodist Church or Heartland Hospice.

Evelyn was born April 23, 1929 in Des Moines, IA.  She was raised by Dr. and Maureen Harper from the age of 12 in Adrian MO.  She was a graduate of Adrian High School and attended two years of college at Warrensburg, MO to receive her teaching certificate.  Evelyn taught school at Crescent Hill Rural School for two years.  She worked for Bates County Hospital in medical records for 25 years.  Evelyn was a member of the Adrian United Methodist Church and the Penny Savers Club.  She had lived in Adrian most of her life with her husband, Jack Scott, who preceded her in death.

Evelyn is survived by one son, John Scott (Peggy), Adrian, MO; one daughter, Bonnie Kunkelman (Larry), Adrian, MO; four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, nine step-great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-great-grandchildren.
