Evelyn Mae MacDonald, 87 of Blue Springs, MO died Monday, June 21, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. (Cremation).

Evelyn was born May 26, 1923 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Owen David and Elizabeth Mae (Davis) Jones. She was a 1941 graduate of East High School in Kansas City, MO. She married William "Mac" MacDonald on June 19, 1942 at the Phoenix Park Methodist Church in Kansas City. She lived in Kansas City until moving to Colorado where they lived for seven years. They moved to Independence, MO in 1955 and then retired to Florida, where they lived for 17 years before moving to Blue Springs 11 years ago.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, William "Mac" MacDonald of the home; two daughters, Carol Barrett and husband, Jim of Lee's Summit, MO; one sister, Dorothy Ray of Independence, MO; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
