Ora Evelyn Anstine, Raymore, MO, went to her Heavenly home June 11, 2020 at the age of 103.  Family graveside services were held in Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, MO, under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Adrian, MO.  Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice, Fellowship Church, Raymore, or the charity of your choice.

Evelyn was born August 20, 1916 to Emery Travis and Susanna (Dehn) George near Clinton, MO. Evelyn graduated from Clinton High School in 1935.  She married LaVerne Neil on May 4, 1936.  They raised their 7 children on a farm west of Adrian, MO.  Evelyn was an active member of Burdette Baptist Church and Harrisonville Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, Bible School, and was a leader in WMU.  LaVerne succumbed to cancer in 1961.  Evelyn later married Robert Gibb who passed in 1977.  Evelyn lived in Harrisonville, MO until she married Shorty Anstine and moved to Raymore.  Shorty died in 2009.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Anna Ruth Gray, sons-in-law, Everett Shelton and Darrell Leonard, step-daughter, Roberta Woolery, her husband and their son, and two great-grandchildren.  She is survived by daughters, Donna Shelton, Clinton; Deanna Leonard, Deepwater; Janice (James) Mayfield, Kansas City; Deborah (Tim) Enos, Butler; sons, Larry (Kathy) Neil, Odessa; Bill (Peggy) Neil, Rolla; Brett (Linda) Neil, Bixby, OK; and step-daughters, Rose (Ron) Mangels, Roach; Doris Russell, Raleigh, N.C.; She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, including granddaughter and husband Kay and Dean Rhodelander who gave her unending love and care for years; several great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.

Evelyn will be remembered by all who knew her as a kind, loving person. She loved visiting with her family in person, through phone calls, on Facebook and Facetime.
