Evelyn Mae Anderson, 70, Kansas City, MO, died Monday, December 17, 2007 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City. Services 3:00 PM Thursday, December 20 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO. Visitation 2:00-3:00 PM Thursday at the chapel. Burial in Oakland Cemetery, Harrisonville. Contributions may be made to the family.

Evelyn was born March 30, 1937 in Kearney, MO, the daughter of Dewey and Mae (Walburn) Russell. She married Lloyd Eugene Anderson in 1954 in Harrisonville, MO.

Evelyn was a homemaker. She collected dolphin and unicorn figurines. She was a member of the Assembly of God, Lee's Summit, MO. Evelyn was a giver to everyone.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lloyd on August 3, 2000. She is survived by five sons, Lloyd E. Anderson, Belton, MO, Vernon Anderson, Lee's Summit, MO, Kevin Anderson, Kansas City, MO, Ronald Anderson, Belton, MO and Robin Anderson, Independence, MO; two daughters, Jewel Chae, Kansas City, MO and Melody Anderson, Belton, MO; one brother, Dewey Russell, Wood River, IL; one sister, Donna Burch, Archie, MO; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
