Evangeline "Van" Eugenia (Graver) Wolf, 95, Kansas City, MO, formerly of Peculiar, MO, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at her home. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life from 12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22 at the home of Mary Newton in Peculiar, MO.
Van was born January 30, 1922 in McCune, KS, the daughter of Willard and Mary Jane (Files) Graver. She had worked as a catalog manager for Sears in Coffeyville, KS, and had worked for J. C. Penney and Montgomery Ward in Coffeyville and Pittsburg, KS. She also worked for Hardees in Coffeyville for several years. Van had also worked as a paper girl with her son in Mesa, AZ for several years. Van was a member of BPW in Coffeyville, KS. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Van was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Jr. Graver. She is survived by one son, Willard A. "Bud" Wolf, San Tan Valley, AZ; three daughters, Alice Marie Wolf, Kansas City, MO, Wanda Lee McBride (Joseph), Sedalia, MO, and Mary E. Newton, Peculiar, MO; 8 grandchildren, Amie, Richard, Jenna, Kimberly, Jeff, Michael, Heather, and Audrey; 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
