Obituary
Ethel Helen Steele, 98, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville after a lengthy illness. (Cremation). Per Ethel's request, a private service will be held for the family.
Ethel was born March 19, 1914 in rural Henry County, Missouri, the daughter of John Robert and Betty (Gross) Lobaugh. She married Paul Simpson Steele.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul on September 21, 1984, six siblings and one son-in-law. She is survived by two daughters, Betty McNamara and Janet Brittion, both of Warrensburg, Missouri; one son, Gerald Steele and wife, Nancy, Harrisonville, Missouri; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special thanks to her caregivers at Golden Years and to the caregivers of Hospice of Kansas. She received special, loving care from them.
