Ethel Lee Gregg, 64, Creighton, MO, died Sunday, November 19, 2006 at her home. Funeral services were held Friday, November 24, 2006 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO, officiated by Rev. Clifford Woolery, Assembly of God, East Lynne, MO. Burial was in Orient Cemetery. Honorary casket bearers were Rick Curtis, Larry Trout, Cork Dawson, Rick Van Dyne, Randy Brown, Terry Medford, Justin Heider and Roger Burkhart. Casket bearers were Jerry Noland, Brandon Gregg, Lance Gregg, Justin Gregg, Tony Sidwell and Sid Sidwell. Contributions may be made to the family.
Lee was born January 23, 1942 in Gunn City, MO, the daughter of Willie Floyd and Dora Pauline (Poil) Kagarice. She married Joe Wesley Gregg on March 12, 1960 in Miami, OK.
Lee worked as a receptionist for Roadway Inn. She wrote poetry and was a member of a poetry club. She had won several awards for her poetry. Lee was a Christian.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents, one infant sister, Beatrice Ann Kagarice and one great-granddaughter, Jacqueline Rose Gregg. She is survived by her husband, Joe, of the home; two sons, Mike Gregg and his wife, Shelly and Billy Gregg and his wife, Diane and one daughter, Jo Lee Gregg, all of East Lynne, MO; two brothers, Alvin Kagarice, Urich, MO and Paul Kagarice, Strasburg, MO; one sister, Willa Gregg, Osceola, MO; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
