Ethel Alberta Brown, 87, Peculiar, MO, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at her home. Cremation. No services. Contributions may be made to Grace Hospice.
Ethel was born March 31, 1920 in Holt County, MO, the daughter of Luie L. and Lela (Addington) Boyles. She married Kenneth Leland Brown in 1938 in Joplin, MO. Ethel had worked for Grace Clothing Company. She also worked with her husband at their store, K. L. Brown Hardware & Implement from 1960-1976 and also helped with the daily operation of the family farm.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, one son, James Brown, in 1994, and her husband, Kenneth, on February 28, 2007. She is survived by one daughter, Judy O'Neall and her husband, Bob, Peculiar, MO and daughter-in-law, Judy Smith and her husband, Norman, Fairfax, IA; five grandchildren, Randy Winchel and his wife, Sherry, Belton, MO, Michael Graebner and his wife, Kahra, Raymore, MO, Jennifer Rhoad and her husband, John, St. Joseph, MO, Chris Brown and his wife, Melanie, Cedar Rapids, IA and Cindy Moschella and her husband, Eric, Seneca, SC; 12 great-grandchildren, Josh, Krystal, Ashley, Emily and Katlin Winchel, Julienne Graebner, Ian and Knox Rhoad, Adan and Molly Brown and Wallace and Rocco Moschella, and three great-great-grandchildren, Dakota Winchel, Alana Lopez and Chance Meriman.
