Esther Dorette Wharton, 91, Norton, KS, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the Andbe Home in Norton. Graveside services 10:30 AM Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, MO.
Esther was born November 9, 1916 in Athol, KS. She attended rural grade school and graduated from Athol, Kansas High School. She attended beauticican school in Kansas City and had her own business for many years in Kansas City, KS. Esther was a member of the Methodist Church in Peculiar, MO and was a supporter of Children's Mercy Hospital.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Tut and Steve, one brother and two sisters. She is survived by a nephew, Butch Rima and his wife, Joyce, Norton, KS and other nephews and nieces.
