Esther Mae Timme, 88, of Harrisonville, Missouri, died Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Adrian Manor, Adrian, MO.  Funeral service were held June 6, 2018 at the Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville with burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Crossroads Hospice, 14310 E. 42nd St. South, Unit 600, Independence, MO  64055.

Esther was born December 31, 1929 in Williamston, North Carolina to Henry W. and Emma (Bullock) Brabble. She was united in marriage to William E. Timme on September 17, 1949 in Edenton, North Carolina. She was a member of the Cherries Jubilee in Lee's Summit and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Harrisonville, serving in the MWU ministries of the church and many other areas of the church as long as her health allowed.

Esther loved to crochet, read, work crossword puzzles and cook for her family. She especially enjoyed her travels back East to visit family and her southern roots. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, family and grandchildren.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, William on March 30, 2012; her parents; three children, Clay Timme, Stephen Timme and Sue Parrish; two brothers, James and Johnny Brabble; brother-in-law, Ted Peffers; and sister-in-law, Janis Brabble. She is survived by two sons, Wyatt Timme (Betty) of Arvada, Colorado and Matt Timme (Sandy) of Harrisonville, MO; one daughter, Robin Thurman of Butler, MO; son-in-law, C.Y. Parrish of Edenton, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Susan Timme of Sachse, Texas; brother, Henry Brabble (Barbara); four sisters, Louise Peffers, Hope Williams (Richard), Sharon Hughes (Johnny) and Linda Fleetwood; sister-in-law, Frances Brabble; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
