Eric Levi Montgomery, 19, Lee's Summit, MO, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in Lee's Summit. Funeral services 2:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2007 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO. Visitation 6:00-7:30 PM Thursday at the chapel. Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Contributions may be made to the Eric Montgomery Memorial Fund, c/o Blue Ridge Bank, Kansas City, MO.

Eric was born June 6, 1988 in Overland Park, KS, the son of Robert L. and Barbara Lynn (Pierce) Montgomery. He was a graduate of Lee's Summit High School and attended Cass Career Center in Harrisonville. Eric enjoyed motorcycles and all types of cars. He also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Eric was an excellent marksman. He was an avid movie buff and loved all types of music. He was very independent and had quite a sarcastic personality. He loved his brother Mark's dog, Bucky.

Eric is survived by his mother, Barbara York and his stepfather, Ron Geraci, Lee's Summit, MO; one brother, Mark Brizendine and his wife, Gina, Lee's Summit, MO; two sisters, Robin and Denise; his maternal grandparents, Dick and Veda Pierce, Independence, MO; one aunt, Susan Beck and her husband, Bill; three uncles, James H. Montgomery, Dean Montgomery and Greg Pierce and cousins, Tyler and Jordan Beck and Cara Robertson.
