Eldon "Rocky" E. Campbell, 60, of Harrisonville, Missouri died Thursday, November 29, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Rocky was born September 17, 1952 in Grant City, Missouri, the son of Eldon and Delores (Harlan) Campbell. He owned Campbell Fire Protection in Harrisonville. He was a U.S. Vietnam War Army veteran.

Rocky restored motorcycles and loved to ride. He was very involved with fire protection/life safety. He loved the great outdoors, "God's Creation", and spending time with friends and family. Rocky was a member of the Harrisonville Chamber of Commerce and the AMCA Antique Motorcycle Club of America.

He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Mattea Campbell Langel and husband, Nicholas Joseph Langel and their son, Sebastian Joseph Langel of Omaha, Nebraska; one brother, Ralph Campbell and wife, Cheryl, Smithville, Missouri; three sisters, Shirley Knapp and husband, Rick, Monte Vista, Colorado, Colleen Kelly and husband, Tom, Redding, Iowa and Sandy Cowsert and husband, Jim, Clinton, Missouri; one half brother, Danny Luckinville of Illinois; niece, Christina Johnson RedWing and husband, Robert, Warsaw, Missouri; brother-in-law, Raymond Dyer and wife, Dona, Creighton, Missouri, sister-in-law, Tina Dyer, Harrisonville, Missouri, sister-in-law, Deborah Bailey Johnson, Boring, Oregon, brother-in-law, Ronald Meineke and wife, Ginger, Galmey, Missouri; other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and his best friend, Norton.
