Eddie Wayne Pulliam, 88, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville.  Funeral services were held  Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, MO.  Memorial contributions may be made to Cass Career Center FFA.

Eddie was born January 17, 1933 in Archie, Missouri, one of ten children of Robert Lee and Edith Mabel (Shawgo) Pulliam. He was a lifelong Cass County, MO resident, and had attended Prairie View Rural School #105, Hickory Grove Rural School # 55, and Bills Rural School #90.

Eddie served in the Army with the Corp of Engineers from 1953-1955. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Patricia Miller May 13, 1956 in Drexel, MO.  Eddie worked for General Motors at the Delco Battery Plant in Olathe, KS 30 years before his retirement in 1987. He was a member of UAW Local #31.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, four sisters, and an infant son Eddie Wayne Pulliam Jr. Eddie is survived by his wife, Evelyn Pat Pulliam, Harrisonville, MO; two sons, Denny (Debbie) Pulliam, Harrisonville, and Rick (Carol) Pulliam, Independence, MO; one brother, Charlie (Tellma) Pulliam, South Beloit, IL; four grandchildren, Shelbi Devine, Jamie (Andy) Dobnikar, Jessie (Wes) Brown, and Crystal Broski; six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
