Eddie Lewis James, Jr., 86, Butler, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Medicalodge of Butler, Butler, MO. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation.
Eddie was born May 11, 1921 in Locust Grove, OK, the son of Eddie Lewis and Minnie G. (Rowler) James. He was a WWII Army veteran. Eddie had worked at the Pleasant Hill, MO High School as a janitor before retiring in 1986.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Beulah. Survivors include one stepson, Lawrence West; two stepdaughters, Deborah Kagarice and Carolyn West; sister, Goldie James; two step-grandchildren, Tonya Kagarice and Kevin Kagarice; two nieces, Margaret Ross and Lori Ann Grubb and two nephews, Carl James and Donald Wayne James.
