Earl Kenneth Couts, 88, Peculiar, MO died Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, MO.  Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.  Burial was at the Peculiar Cemetery, Peculiar, MO.

Earl was born August 29, 1930 in Kansas City, MO, a son of Samuel Lloyd and Freda (Wood) Couts.  He had lived in Kansas City before moving to Peculiar in 1969.  Earl was a residential roofer most of his life.  He raised Burlingham Rollers and was a member of the Burlingham  Rollers Pigeon Club and was also a member of the Farquharson Clan of Scotland.

Earl is survived by two sons, Erick Couts, Branson, MO and Russell Couts, Drexel, MO; four daughters, Diana May, Katy, TX, Deana Belcher, St. Mary, GA, Sherelyn Coggins, Belton, MO, and Jody Couts-Harnsberger, Peculiar; one brother, Lloyd Edward Couts, Drexel, MO; one sister, Lois Stomp, Palm Coast, FL; 9 grandchildren;  20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
