Dorothy Marie Lynn, 87, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be at a later date in the Corder Calvary Cemetery in Corder, MO. Dorothy was born April 9, 1921 in Clifton City, MO, the daughter of William Clarence and Anna Laura (Hays) Watring. Dorothy married Elbert O. Lynn on August 5, 1968. She was a homemaker.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Willie Watring, Jr., Granbille Watring, Marvin Watring, Robert Watring and Russell Watring and two sisters, Myrtle Jeffress and Laura "Francis" Long. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Kirschner and her husband, Bob, Harrisonville, MO; one brother, Jack Watring and his wife, Mabel, Tipton, MO; two grandchildren, Robert Kirschner and Laura Kirschner and one great-granddaughter, Rosalyn Kirschner.
