Dorothy Pearl Ford, 90, Harrisonville, MO, formerly of Archie, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at St. Luke's East in Lee's Summit, MO.  Funeral services were held  Monday, March 22, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Archie, MO.   Burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, MO.  Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri Baptist Children's Home or to the church.

Dorothy was born May 30, 1930 in Adrian, MO, a daughter of James Harper and Edna Pearl (Wolfe) Hartsell.  She had lived in Adrian, MO and Pleasanton, KS before moving to Archie where she lived most of her life.  Dorothy was united in marriage to Lloyd W. Ford, June 28, 1947 in Mound City, Kansas. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Archie and was a member of the Chat and Sew group at church.  She had worked as a secretary for the OATS bus service for a number of years.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd on November 8, 1999, one brother, her sister and brother-in-law, Edna Mae "Sally" and George Shaw, a son-in-law, Bob Harrington, and a niece, Darlene Finke. She is survived by one son, Michael Ford (Judy), Harrisonville, MO; two daughters, Connie Harrington, Nevada, MO and Linda Ford, Harrisonville, MO; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; other relatives and friends.
