Obituary
Doris Ann Hocker, 72, Edwardsville, Kansas, formerly of Peculiar, Missouri, died Saturday, January 5, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Peculiar Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri.
Doris was born August 21, 1940 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of Clarence Lester and Dixie Irene (Wallace) Wolf. She was a graduate of Peculiar High School. She had lived in Peculiar, Belton and Kansas City, Kansas before moving to Edwardsville. Doris had worked as an LPN at Truman Medical Center-Lakewood. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing and crafts of all kinds.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by three daughters, Beth Wilson, Reno, Nevada, Karen Kleypas, Houston, Texas and Janet Simons, Kansas City, Kansas; one brother, Bill Wolf and his wife, Sherry, Afton, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
