Doris Mae Graef, 82, Harrisonville, MO, died Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Harrisonville, due to a car accident.  Funeral services were held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.   Burial will be held at Norris Cemetery in Hartwell, MO.

Doris was born May 8, 1936 in Hartwell, MO, a daughter of Walphia and Sylvia (Orfield) Winkler.  She was a 1957 graduate of Urich High School.  Doris married Merle D. Graef on May 17, 1957.  She had worked at Harrisonville Firework for several years before retiring.  Doris enjoyed going to the boats, shopping, and getting out and going to the grandkids' games.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Merle, on November 7, 1991, two brothers, John and Little Harold and two sisters, Velma and Anna Faye.  She is survived by two sons, Dean Graef and wife, Linda, Raytown, MO, and Scott Graef and wife, Tina, Harrisonville; one daughter, Patricia Van Black and husband, John, Harrisonville; 8 grandchildren, Misti, Marcus, Kristi, Jacob, Carson, Mackenna, Robi and Jesse; 3 great-granddaughters, Samara, Destiny and Novalie; two sisters, Wanda Baker, Garland, TX and Barbara Siders, Belton, MO; one brother, Dennis Winkler and wife, Patty, Clinton, MO, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and tons of friends.
