Doris Louise Colvin, 84, Webb City, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at her home. Services were Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville.

Doris was born February 13, 1934 in Harrisonville, MO, the daughter of Newton and Bernita (Dykes) Colvin. She married Kenneth Edgar Colvin on November 27, 1993 at the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville. She had lived in Harrisonville for most of her life before moving to Webb City several years ago. She had worked at several nursing homes as a nurse aide.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth on February 17, 2013; four brothers, George, Vernon "Dutch", Newton "Newt", and James Allen, and four sisters, Eleanor, Hattie, Mary, and Edna Pearl. She is survived by one son, John Decou, Webb City, MO; one sister, Betty Colvin, Harrisonville, MO; several nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
