Dora "Darlene" Eastman, 84, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.  Graveside services were held March 4, 2021 at Oakland Cemetery in Harrisonville.

Darlene was born September 2, 1936 in Harrisonville, MO, a daughter of John William and Mary Elizabeth (Bearce) Peterson.  She attended Harrisonville Public Schools and later married Robert Daniel Eastman.  She was a lifelong resident of Harrisonville.  Darlene had worked in food service at various locations in Harrisonville, including Red Onion and Wagon Wheel, Casco, Harrisonville Medical Center and Golden Years Care Center before retiring in 2004.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post No. 4409 and Crossroads Assembly of God.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert on September 19, 1986, one son, Robert E. Schock, one brother, John "Pete" Peterson, and an aunt, Catherine Harper and her aunt and uncle, Ellis and Joann Bearce.  She is survived by one daughter, Donna Kay Phares, Harrisonville, MO; two sons, Calvin Schock, Jr., Archie, MO and David Schock, Creighton, MO; one brother, Kenneth Peterson, Killeen, TX.
