Donna E. Taylor, 85, Peculiar, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at her home. Graveside services were held Sunday, December 10 at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville.

Donna was born April 24, 1932 in Harrisonville, MO, the daughter of James Dewey and Cora Elva (Shook) Taylor. She was a 1950 graduate of Harrisonville High School. She had lived in Hacienda Heights, CA before moving back to Harrisonville in 1978. Donna worked as a bookkeeper for the Johnson Insurance Agency in Kansas City until her retirement. She moved to Peculiar in April, 2017. Donna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and thirteen brothers and sisters. She is survived by great-nephews, Rob Morris and Kenny Morris, and great-great-nephew, Jacob Morris, all of Harrisonville, MO; great-niece, Kristy DeMaranville, great-great-nephew Dakota DeMaranville, and great-great-niece, Shyla DeMaranville, all of Peculiar, and numerous nieces and nephews.
