Donna Kay Jones, 63, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services were held  Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Inurnment will be held in Orient Cemetery at a later date.

Donna was born August 10, 1960 in Harrisonville, MO, a daughter of Marion Eugene "Gene" and Twyla "Darlene" (Frye) Oliphant. She had lived in Grandview, MO and Kansas City most of her life and was a 1978 graduate of Hickman Mills High School. Donna worked as a cashier and day manager for Paul's Drive-In in Kansas City, MO for 13 years. She had also worked at U.S.Toy. She was an avid bowler.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael "Mike" Jones, on March 18, 2007. She is survived by one brother, Robert "Bob" Oliphant, Kansas City, MO; three sisters: Kathy Kurtz, Vernal, UT; Paula Gerean, Harrisonville, MO; and Kelly Sloan, Grandview, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
