Donna Rose Coke, 66, Raymore, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Redwood of Raymore in Raymore, MO.  Funeral services were held Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Donna was born October 27, 1953 in Harrisonville, Missouri, a daughter of John B. and Sybil (Wass) Coke.  She was a 1971 graduate of Harrisonville High School.  Donna received a degree in criminal justice from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO.  She then went to law school, receiving her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City Law School.  She worked as an attorney at the Missouri Court of Appeals.  She went back to school and received her teaching degree and taught high school for a few years.  Donna opened her own law practice in Harrisonville for a number of years before her retirement.  She was a member of the Missouri Bar Association.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Sybil Coke.  She is survived by her daughter, Beth Atkin, Kansas City, MO; her brother, Jay Coke, Cleveland, MO; and two grandchildren, Adelaide Harrison and Eleni Harrison.
