Don was born September 5, 1966 in Harrisonville, MO, the son of Donald Dean and Barbara Isabella (Gopsill) Clawson, Sr.

Don worked as a sheetrock installer. He had served on the Harrisonville Civil Dense and the Harrisonville volunteer fire department. He enjoyed fishing, dirt biking, quad running, camping and swimming.

Don is survived by two sons, Bradley Dean Clawson and Christopher Matthew Clawson, both of Harrisonville, MO; one daughter, Christian Makayla Dawn Clawson, Grandview, MO; his parents, Don and Barbara Clawson, Sr., Harrisonville, MO; one brother, Tom Clawson, Garden City, MO; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
