Donald Shane Cameron, 49, of Harrisonville, Missouri died Friday, October 15, 2010 at his home in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with visitation from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial and Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 20 at the Austin Cemetery in Archie, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of donor's choice.

Shane was born June 23, 1961 in Butler, MO, the son of Donald Ray and Gayla Faye (Barnard) Cameron. He grew up in Archie, MO and was a 1979 graduate of Archie High School. He married Terri Shawn Horn on October 11, 1980 at Lord's Park in Harrisonville, MO. He had lived in Harrisonville for the last 20 years.

Shane was a welder in a machine shop and had managed Freddie Horn Chap Shop. Shane's passions were music, fishing and cooking for friends and family.

Shane was preceded in death by his mother and his father-in-law, Freddie Horn. He is survived by his wife, Terri Cameron of the home; his father, Don Cameron of Archie, MO; his mother-in-law, Mary Horn of Harrisonville, MO; two brothers, Danny Cameron and Dale Cameron, both of Archie, MO; his brother-in-law, John Horn of Del Rio, TX; three nephews, Jesse Horn, Kyle Cameron, Kevin Cameron and three nieces, Alexa, Eliza and Sydney.
