Donald Elmer Bennefeld, 83 of Belton, Mo died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Southland Baptist Church, 16205 Vicie Avenue, Belton, MO, (816) 322-4300. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beautiful Savior Nursing Home, 1003 South Cedar Street, Belton, MO 64012.
Donald was born January 31, 1927 i Kansas City, MO, the son of Elmer Jennings and Bessie (Martin) Bennefeld. He was a WWII Navy veteran.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Nellie of the home; one son, Don Bennefeld and his wife, Diane, Peculiar, MO; two brothers, Lanny Bennefeld, Raytown, MO and Ronnie Bennefeld, Tightwad, MO; one sister, Linda Ison, Independence, MO; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
