Don Johnnie Elliott, 65 of Harrisonville, MO died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at his home. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO. (Cremation).

Don was born July 19, 1945 in Independence, MO, the son of Cleo and Joylou (Logsdon) Elliott. He was a 1963 graduate of William Chrisman High School in Independence, MO. Don married Charlotte Parker on August 23, 1963. He had lived in Harrisonville for almost 28 years.

Don owned and operated Elliott's Construction for 38 years. He was a member of the Harrisonville Elk's Lodge.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Danny Elliott. He is survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Charlotte, of the home; one son, Johnnie Elliott and his wife, Carrie of Harrisonville, MO; two daughters, Ginger Freeman and her husband, Ricky of Creighton, MO and Cindy Cook and her husband, Bill of Strasburg, MO; one sister, Becky Fouts and her husband, Kirby of Independence, MO and five grandchildren, Bill Cook, Racheal Freeman, Sidney Elliott, Johnnie Elliott and Gage Brown.
