Diane Fitzwater, 70, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at her home.  Funeral services were held  Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.   Burial  in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Diane was born December 2, 1951 in Harrisonville, MO, a daughter of Harold Laverne and Mildred "Millie" Inez (Anderson) Morris.  She was a 1969 graduate of Harrisonville High School and was a life-long resident of Harrisonville.  Diane had worked for Peterson Mfg. for 32 years.  She was a big fan of the Big Creek Opry.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Michelle Fitzwater on October 21, 1989; and one brother, Ronald Morris.  She is survived by two daughters: Stacey Borgic (Ben), Niles, MI, and Christine Lee (Kevin Hobbs), Grandview, MO; and five grandchildren: Gavin Lee, Gunner Lee, Grace Grissom, Jamison Grissom and Kylee Bohle.
