Diana Lynn Sprigg, 72, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at her home. In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held, allowing her loving family and friends to celebrate her life in their own personal ways. Memorial contributions can be made to Harrisonville Animal Shelter.

Born on November 9, 1953, in Algona, Iowa, Diana spent her childhood in Storm Lake, Iowa, where the values of hard work and compassion were instilled in her. After fifteen years in Storm Lake, she ventured to Kansas City, MO, eventually making her home in Grandview and later in Harrisonville. Diana dedicated nearly two decades of her life to Calmar Plastics as an assembler, where she was known for her unwavering commitment to her work and her ability to inspire those around her with her resilience and dedication.

Beyond her professional life, Diana had a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. She found bliss in her time at the library, and in the thrill of playing bingo, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. Her joyous zest for life will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Grace (Scott) Weishaar, and a brother, Edwin Weishaar, Jr. She is survived by her son, Jason (Missy) Ballard, Harrisonville, MO; a granddaughter, Sydney Ballard, Harrisonville, MO; her brothers: Guy Ballard, Chicago, Illinois; Greg Ballard, Warsaw, MO; Dan Weishaar, Loveland, Colorado; Joe Weishaar, Kearney, Nebraska; Alan Weishaar, Owensboro, Kentucky; and a sister, Nancy Turner, San Antonio, Texas.
