Diana Marie Kemper, 51 of Independence, MO, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Cornerstone Community Church in Harrisonville with visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Park Cemetery in Grain Valley, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Ralph H. Diana was born September 9, 1959 in Sedalia, MO, the daughter of William P. and Grace Marie (Bando) Fordyce. She was a graduate of Harrisonville High School. She married Timothy Richard Kemper on July 5, 1997. Diana was a real estate agent for Reece/Nichols and RE/MAX for 10 years. She was also an apartment manager. She lived in Peculiar, MO before moving to Independence. She was a member of the Timothy Lutheran Church in Blue Springs, MO.

Diana was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Tim of the home; three daughters, Melissa M. West, Garden City, MO, Marine Lance Corporal Victoria Ann "Tori" Kemper, Quantico, VA and Nicole Marie Kemper of the home; her mother, Grace Fordyce, Independence, MO; five brothers, Paul Fordyce, Drexel, MO, Mike Fordyce, Joplin, MO, Jim Fordyce, Harrisonville, MO, Bill Fordyce, Independence, MO and Tom Fordyce, Harrisonville, MO; one sister, Peggy Mueller, Independence, MO and two grandchildren, Amber Nicole West and Ashlee Marie West.
