Diana Lee Diamond Watskey, 48, Belton, Missouri, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home in Belton. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Church of Christ (Temple Lot), 200 South River Blvd., Independence, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery in Cleveland, Missouri.

Diana was born June 23, 1964 in Butler, Missouri, the daughter of Richard Lee and Ina Coleane (Mabary) Diamond. She was a 1983 graduate of Belton High School and had lived in the Belton area most of her life. She received a business administration degree from the School of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri.

Diana married William Watskey on July 17, 2009 in Independence, Missouri. She worked as an accountant before retiring. She was a member of Church of Christ in Independence.

Diana was preceded in death by both of her parents this year, her father, Richard on April 24, 2012 and her mother, Coleane on May 1, 2012, a brother, Travis and a daughter, Joyce Watskey. She is survived by her husband, William, of the home; one brother, John Diamond, Raymore, Missouri; one daughter, Spring Watskey, Independence, Missouri and one granddaughter, Ariella.
